Everglades Historic House & Garden

Everglades at Leura is set in one of Australia’s foremost heritage gardens.

The house and gardens were designed in the 1930s as a weekend retreat by Danish-born architect Paul Sorensen.  The property sits on the edge of the Jamison Valley and offers breathtaking views across the Blue Mountains National Park.

The gardens themselves cover more than 12 acres and feature both European and native Australian flora.

Visit the gift shop, see the art exhibition in the old Squash Court, picnic on the lawns or enjoy delicious light food in the tea rooms.

Everglades is open from 10.00am to 5.00pm in Spring and Summer and from 10.00am to 4.00pm in Autumn and Winter.
